Sunalp2 ci regala una vettura “nuova” di zecca per GT Legends, si tratta dell’americanissima Plymouth Roadrunner. Versione 1.0 scaricabile da NogripRacing, peso del pacchetto di download 37 Megabytes.

Piccolo aggiornamento da 18 MB per la mod GTL che trasporta appunto il vecchio titolo Simbin GT Legends nel simulatore GTR Evolution. In particolare le fix di questa ultima versione sono:

Doppia release, stessa pista ma due sim diversi, ovvero GTR2 e GT Legends. Si tratta di Mexico City del 1967, realizzata dal modder Sunalp2 sul tracciato originale realizzato per rFactor da Slimjim.

Ovviamente si tratta di un mod visto parecchio tempo fa su rFactor, ed oggi trasportato in GT Legends da Greybrad. Si tratta di vetture old style preparate per con componenti moderni per una gara su pista. Da notare un interessante implementazione del modello danni in GTL. Versione 1.0 presso NogripRacing. 64,11 MB.

Doppia release da GTI-Heizer che ha curato la conversione dell’oramai noto modder Carrera4 da rFactor per GTR2 e Race 07 nonchè GTR Evolution. Se amate sfilare in mezzo ai grattacieli e i muretti, la vecchia Detroit (teatro della tappa F1 negli anni 80) è una ottima sfida.

ehm… dimenticatavo GT Legends…

Una bellissima Porsche del 1974 per GT Legends in versione stradale a cura di Crocko 05, un must have per il vecchio titolo simbin.

In 1974 Porsche introduced a turbocharged sports car at the Paris Motor Show – the new Turbo. With its three-litre displacement and turbocharger the Turbo recorded new performance values. Porsche had injected all of its sports car experience with turbochargers into its series production models. At the onset only a small number of Turbos were planned. However, in the light of its amazing impact, production figures were boosted – (SuperCars.net).

Thanks must also go to the ‘unkown’ creators of the wheels used on the cars, thankyou, whoever you are.
The cars are based on the production version of the 911 Turbo (930) and produce 270hp @ 6750rpm and 236ft/lb 5500rpm and are fitted with a ‘930′ type 4-speed transmission.

Doppia pubblicazione per il tracciato di Misano (quindi prima delle recenti modifiche introdotte per ospitare la MotoGP).
Lo sviluppo per entrambi è stato portato avanti da Stepy. La versione 1.o per GT Legends pesa 20 MB [ Download ] mentre quella per GTR2, sempre versione 1.0 pesa 21 MB [ Download ].

Di vetture non se ne sono viste tantissime per GT Legends, ma come dire “poche ma buone”. Crocko 05 ci proponte per 15,1 MB (versione 1.1) una versione modificata della Falcon Galaxie 390, ovvero una Falcon Sprint 390 del 1963. Non puo’ che essere una gradita sorpresa per tutti i fan di GTL.

This Falcon Sprint is based on a real 1963 Ford Galaxie 390 that races in the Group Nb class Historics in Australia. It is driven by Chris Strode and is effectionately known as ‘the suburb on wheels’.
It is fitted with a 460hp 390ci ‘big-block’ (and under the rules, can be fitted with a 428!) and Borg-Warner T-10 gearbox. Chris was thinking of installing a 428 for this year, but under the current Nb regulations, the car must still use 4-WHEEL DRUM BRAKES!! (as it does in current form), so he thought better of it and rebuilt the 390.
As we don’t have a Galaxie mod atm (..yet), I decided to fit the 390 and T-10 g/box into a Falcon Sprint, send it over to sunalp2’s ‘Paint and Body Shop’ for a respray and also a new side exiting exhaust system (a big thankyou to you Frank…..the ‘Chip Foose’ of NoGrip). I have moved it up into the GTC-65 class and it will show as Falcon Sprint 390.

Sicuramente i più non conoscono la Bizzarrini (vabbè prima di questo post nemmeno io, o almeno non credo di ricordarla). Per cui copioincollo il primo pezzo della pagina di Wikipedia dedicata alla Bizzarrini.

La Bizzarrini è un’azienda italiana operante nel settore automobilistico fondata nel 1964 da Giotto Bizzarrini. Fondata a Livorno col nome di Prototipi Bizzarrini diventa Bizzarrini S.p.a. nel 1966 per poi chiudere, dopo breve vita, nel 1969. Il nome è riapparso nel 1998 con una serie di prototipi. Attualmente il marchio è di proprietà dell’azienda lombarda VGM Motors s.r.l., fondata a Siziano (PV) nel 2002, intenta a tornare alla produzione in serie, indi non limitata a prototipi, con il modello Bizzarrini Ghepardo. La produzione resta comunque di tipo semiartigianale, come ogni prodotto nella storia del marchio.

L’auto che viene presentata a livello virtuale è la 5300GT per GT Legends, a cura del sito nfs-bolide (un mago a cercare le vetture di un certo appeal e che pochi considerano).

Se siete stufi (ma non credo visto quanti ce ne sono) potete ampliare la vostra collezione di circuiti per GT Legends aggiungendo la versione 1979 di Interlagos (San Paulo, Brasile) e le molteplici versioni di Aintree (UK) datate 1955, 57, 59, 61 e 62.
