Una bellissima Porsche del 1974 per GT Legends in versione stradale a cura di Crocko 05, un must have per il vecchio titolo simbin.

In 1974 Porsche introduced a turbocharged sports car at the Paris Motor Show – the new Turbo. With its three-litre displacement and turbocharger the Turbo recorded new performance values. Porsche had injected all of its sports car experience with turbochargers into its series production models. At the onset only a small number of Turbos were planned. However, in the light of its amazing impact, production figures were boosted – (SuperCars.net).

Thanks must also go to the ‘unkown’ creators of the wheels used on the cars, thankyou, whoever you are.
The cars are based on the production version of the 911 Turbo (930) and produce 270hp @ 6750rpm and 236ft/lb 5500rpm and are fitted with a ‘930′ type 4-speed transmission.

Doppia pubblicazione per il tracciato di Misano (quindi prima delle recenti modifiche introdotte per ospitare la MotoGP).
Lo sviluppo per entrambi è stato portato avanti da Stepy. La versione 1.o per GT Legends pesa 20 MB [ Download ] mentre quella per GTR2, sempre versione 1.0 pesa 21 MB [ Download ].

Di vetture non se ne sono viste tantissime per GT Legends, ma come dire “poche ma buone”. Crocko 05 ci proponte per 15,1 MB (versione 1.1) una versione modificata della Falcon Galaxie 390, ovvero una Falcon Sprint 390 del 1963. Non puo’ che essere una gradita sorpresa per tutti i fan di GTL.

This Falcon Sprint is based on a real 1963 Ford Galaxie 390 that races in the Group Nb class Historics in Australia. It is driven by Chris Strode and is effectionately known as ‘the suburb on wheels’.
It is fitted with a 460hp 390ci ‘big-block’ (and under the rules, can be fitted with a 428!) and Borg-Warner T-10 gearbox. Chris was thinking of installing a 428 for this year, but under the current Nb regulations, the car must still use 4-WHEEL DRUM BRAKES!! (as it does in current form), so he thought better of it and rebuilt the 390.
As we don’t have a Galaxie mod atm (..yet), I decided to fit the 390 and T-10 g/box into a Falcon Sprint, send it over to sunalp2’s ‘Paint and Body Shop’ for a respray and also a new side exiting exhaust system (a big thankyou to you Frank…..the ‘Chip Foose’ of NoGrip). I have moved it up into the GTC-65 class and it will show as Falcon Sprint 390.

Se siete stufi (ma non credo visto quanti ce ne sono) potete ampliare la vostra collezione di circuiti per GT Legends aggiungendo la versione 1979 di Interlagos (San Paulo, Brasile) e le molteplici versioni di Aintree (UK) datate 1955, 57, 59, 61 e 62.

Se volete concentrare tutta la distribuzione Simbin dentro GTR Evolution potete partire con questa patch 1.2 del GTL mod, per continuare con il GTR2GT e GTR2nGT. Nella odierna versione della trasposizione di GT Legends si segnalano l’aggiunta del sonoro nel caso di impatti con rocce o polvere (?). Aggiunta delle icone nel menu, fix per la Mercedes 300SL, Porsche 911 e BMW. La versione 1.2 è comunque compatibile con la 1.1 nel multiplayer (cioè non ci sarà mismatch). Peso del tutto 17,14 MB ad opera di Mojo66.

GT Legends oramai non più giovane, conta ancora qualche circuito interessante da proporre, come questo Monaco fine anni ottanta. Certamente un tracciato dei più interessanti e che manca alla “circuito-teca” di un vintaga racing come GTL. Peso 26,79 MB, versione 1.0 a cura di DerDumeklemmer su una precedente creazione di Carrera4 in rFactor.

Una delle vetture che hanno reso affascinante il mito inglese di Jaguar, la E Type in versione Roadster. Il progetto di realizzarla digitalmente è durato un annetto e si presenta davvero completo, con tanto di templates in photoshop allegati. Sono presenti 10 vetture, 5 delle quali con livree del tempo. Realizzato da Sunalp2, versione 1.01 66,47 MB.

Lancia Fulvia HF

Nella pausa estiva era passata completamente innosservata, rimedio subito. Si tratta della bellissima Lancia Fulvia 1600HF per GT Legends, in pratica una ottima rivale per la Alfa GTA nella classe TC 65. La vettura è stata creata da Scca1981 e modificata nella fisica dal gruppo RMi. Peso 15,87 MB versione 1.0

Esiste anche una versione più recente per GTR2 e GTL, rivista dallo stesso SCCA1981, a questo indirizzo (5,8 MB  versione 1.0).

Il tracciato nipponico del Fuji è stato costruito nel 1963 per la Nascar giapponese, lungo originariamente 4km (molto corto per l’epoca) è stato restaurato portando il manto stradale a 4,359Km nel 65. Il tracciato di GT Legends in questione è quello relativo a quest’ultima interpretazione, non al 100% accurata, in quanto l’attuale Fuji è completamente differente a seguito di un completo rifacimento anche nel disegno di tutto il tracciato. I più anziani la ricorderanno, era la vettura con la carrozzeria in elementi di vetroresina  (cofano paraurti allargati e spolier) ed elementi di alluminio per portiere,  con un carburatore doppiocorpo da 235CV e 2000 cc di cilindrata, ovviamente motorizzata Fiat e preparata dal Garage Abarth. Famosa l’evoluzione con il compressore volumetrico e 16 valvole che sarà la base della Lancia 037 da rally.
Vinse ben tre mondiali Rally nel 1977, 1978 e 1980. Ora è stata trasporta da Scca1981, presa dal 3D dei Codemasters, in GTR2 e GT Legends nella classe TC65. Versione 1.1 con 19,56 MB di peso, scaricabili da Nogrip Racing (previa registrazione).
